My Chicks and Me

This is me and one of my chicks. I got them two weeks ago. The second day half of our chicks got clogged vents so my mom and I stayed up until ten O'clock cleaning them up. I felt like a chicken vet. It was pretty grouse at first but then you get used to it. Yesterday we figured out one of the chicks is a rooster! I'm excited because that means next spring we might have baby chicks again.

They are getting better at flying up. They will have to move out to the hen house very soon. My dad said this weekend we can put up the chicken fence to keep Moses, our puppy, out.
