A Spring Surprise

This is my big surprise for Spring! We got an ext5ra big egg today! It was 2 and 1/2 inches long! It is the biggest egg I have ever seen. Definetly the biggest egg our chickens have ever laid.

Today is our chickens 1st birthday!
Good job Moses for not attacking my chickens!

My Date with Dad

Last night I went on a date with my dad. First we went to California pizza kitchen then we went to return some of mommy's things. Then we went to the book store. Since there were no Elsie Dinsmore or Scout books I picked out Biographies, my third favorite kind of book. I read a lot when I went to bed. I actually stayed up reading until 11:25pm. I read one whole biography. It was 192 pages on Davey Crockett. I read the book in 3 hours and 25 minutes which is also 205 minutes. The book had 192 pages. So 192 divided into 205 minutes means I read each page in almost 94 seconds. I am glad my dad took me on a date so I could get some new books.

6 Loaves of Bread

Today I made 6 Loaves of Zucchini bread. Two for a sick lady at church, two for the potluck after church, and two for my family. I made all of them from one big zucchini. I still have four loaves worth left. It was one big zucchini!

My report on Eric Liddell

Eric Liddell was born in China. His parents where Missionaries in China. He was sent to a school to study in England. While he was in England he became a famous runner and won every race he entered. When Eric was invited to run in the Olympics on Sunday he said no because Sunday was the Lords day. Then soon after he was invited to another even bigger Olympic race that was not on a Sunday, and Eric said yes. He won again!

Once after a race he was going to get on a boat, but he missed it. The boat was 15 feet away from the dock, but when he found a chance he threw his bags on and jumped and landed back first on the ship. When the time came he went back to China to be a missionary. In China he married and had two girls. China was under attack so Eric went and brought the Soldiers in to safety.

My 1st Egg!

Yesterday I was feeding my chickens and I found that they had kicked of the lid to their chicken crumble and I found our first egg!
What a great day! I lost another tooth and collected my first home grown egg!

Today was even better b/c I got to fry and eat my egg and I got 35 cents from the tooth fairy!

Mrs. Piggle Wiggle

The Mrs. <span class=
My Grandma Sarah let me borrow a book called MRS. PIGGLE - WIGGLE . This book has 392 pages! It took me a while to read because, I kept distracted by other books... like Prince Caspian and The Little Pilgrims Progress. MRS. PIGGLE - WIGGLE is very nice. In every story she cures people of weird and silly habits. MRS. PIGGLE - WIGGLE ,Herself ,The Radish Cure ,The Slow - Eater - Tiny - Bite - Taker Cure , The Whisperer. The Tattletale Cure, The Never - want - to Go - to - Schooler , The Waddle-I-Doers. There is many more of them in the book.

My favorite one is The Answer- Backer Cure! Mrs. Piggle-Wiggles silly parrot Penelope copies the little girl, Mary, every time she talks back. It is very funny!

I think Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle is a very creative lady. She always has something for kids to do and always makes them happy. She lives in a house that is upside down and has steps so you can practice jumping. Her husband was a pirate. He left lots of gold for the children to dig up and play with.
