Book Club

Today I went to a book club meeting for the first time. I did my book report on "Prince Caspian," the fourth book in "The Chronicles of Narnia," by C.S. Lewis. I choose this book b/c I made a deal with my mom that if I finish this book and a puzzle book she got me that goes with it, I would get to go on a date with her, my dad, and my little brother Austin to see the movie when it comes out in the Theatres.
Book Report:
It all starts out with Peter, Susan, Edmond and Lucy... the main characters in the "Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." They were going back to school, then when they got off the train
something started pulling them. They thought it was magic so they held hands and they were not at the train station anymore. Instead they were on an island. They did not know it at first because they were in very thick trees. Then Lucy saw an apple tree but didn't want to eat the sandwiches their mom had packed for them. So they went toward the apple tree; when they got there they found out that right next to it was the ruins of Cair Paravel. They were back in Narnia.
By now it was getting dark and cold. Peter and Edmond went out and got fire wood. Susan went to the well and came back with something shinny. When the fire was made Susan showed that it was a golden chess piece that she and Lucy played with when they were Kings and Queens in Narnia. This is were the adventure begins.
My favorite part is when Aslan makes a door to the real world for the mean soldiers of Miraz. So that they can go to the real world where they belong. Peter, Susan, Edmond, and Lucy make it home by going through the door and end up back in the train station. Edmond leaves his new torch in Narnia.
